There are two types of combusting engines in modern cars and they come with either:

1. 1.  a Timing Belt
   2.  or a Timing Chain

We @Mr Spanners Automotive work with both types of engines. Usually, changing a timing belt is a straightforward process and we only need your car for a few hours.

Please keep in mind if you need to change timing belts on your Land Rover (there are two belts) we will need your car for a couple of days.

Many people think that a timing chain doesn't need to be changed/replaced which isn't true and if your car has a timing chain - follow your car manufacturer specifications to avoid costly mistakes.
